No big updates this month. As always, you can find all my English reviews here and all my Dutch reviews here.

I read these books
The Stolen Heir by Holly Black / โ โ โ โ

Synopsis โ
A runaway queen. A reluctant prince. And a quest that may destroy them both.
Eight years have passed since the Battle of the Serpent. But in the icy north, Lady Nore of the Court of Teeth has reclaimed the Ice Needle Citadel. There, she is using an ancient relic to create monsters of stick and snow who will do her bidding and exact her revenge.
Suren, child queen of the Court of Teeth, and the one person with power over her mother, fled to the human world. There, she lives feral in the woods. Lonely, and still haunted by the merciless torments she endured in the Court of Teeth, she bides her time by releasing mortals from foolish bargains. She believes herself forgotten until the storm hag, Bogdana chases her through the night streets. Suren is saved by none other than Prince Oak, heir to Elfhame, to whom she was once promised in marriage and who she has resented for years.
Now seventeen, Oak is charming, beautiful, and manipulative. Heโs on a mission that will lead him into the north, and he wants Surenโs help. But if she agrees, it will mean guarding her heart against the boy she once knew and a prince she cannot trust, as well as confronting all the horrors she thought she left behind.

A Court of Silver Flames (Part 1 of 2) [Dramatized Adaptation] by Sarah J. Maas / โ โ โ โ

Synopsis โ
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she’s struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can’t seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.
The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre’s Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta’s orbit. But her temper isn’t the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.
Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.
Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other’s arms.
The one book that really stood out this month was…
I liked both books.
Some books I added to my TBR this month were…
I’ve recently added two books Sword Catcher by popular author Cassandra Clare. This one intrigues me because I only know her from her Shadowhunter series and I’ very curious to see what this book will be like. The premisis sounds promising. I’ve also added Starling House by Alix E. Harrow to my TBR. The premises sounds so good and that cover is absolutely gorgeous.
Did you read some enjoyable books this month? If so, which one was your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
