New adult (NA) fiction is a developing genre of fiction with protagonists in the 18–30 age bracket. A genre in which I, a 20 year old female, can really find myself in.
I have always been a fan of reading a book with a protagonist who’s close to my age. I feel like I can place myself better in his or her head and thoughts.
I kind of am losing interest in YA books, not entirely of course because it is still close to my age. But the realization that I am 20 and a lot of book characters are 15-16, makes me feel old. I know I’m not the only one in this!!
So this year I’m going to deepen myself in the new-ish genre. Here are some books I have found so far.
Red, White & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
