Since starting to work full-time I’ve been having less time to read and write blog posts, so I’m very grateful that Laura @ Extraordinary Explorer nominated me for this tag!

1. what is your favourite genre?

It definitely depends on my mood! I absolutely love science fiction and fantasy but there are moments where I’m not in the mood to read a book in one of those genres.

2. who’s your favourite female character?

I think my OG favourite female baddie is June Iparis from the Legend series by Marie Lu. She was one of the first characters who made me feel like I could do everything I wanted to.

3. what is that one tv show/movie/book/piece of media that you always turn to, that brings you comfort?

Hmmm, that’s a hard one. If I look to the book series I’ve read a couple of times, I have to say The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer. I also really love Thor Ragnarok and have watched that movie a couple of times!

4. do you have a comfort thing? Whether it be a place, a character, a book, tv show/movie? Just something that you always turn to when you’re feeling in a mood and it always cheers you up?

My bed. Whenever I feel down I go lay in bed (with my favourite stuffed animal) and just lay there.

5. what’s your favourite childhood memory?

Probably spending Christmas together with my grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins!

6. what’s a fun fact about your self?

I speak three languages; Dutch, French and English but only read in Dutch and English.

7. what’s the last song you listened to?

‘I Don’t Do Drugs’ by Doja Cat ft. Ariana Grance (it was my first time listening to this song lol)

8. are you a morning or night person?

I’ve always tried to convince myself that I’m a night person but honestly, there I’m such a morning person. I’m not good at staying up late and love the mornings – especially when it’s sunny outside and you can hear the birds chirping.

9. are you an introvert or extrovert?

I’m definitely an extrovert but I have a limited social battery. So once it runs out I definitely close myself off and get agitated and need some alone time.

10. what’s your favourite color? 

Mustard yellow!

11. do you have any other hobbies besides reading?

Yes! Besides reading I love to write blogposts and take pictures of my books for Instagram. I also love to do yoga from time to time and I love to play videogames!
