Iedereen – inclusief Josien – is verbaasd, want hoe kan een kerstaholic als zij nou kerst overslaan? Kan ze dan niet ná de kerst beginnen met haar soloretraite? Nee. Josien is vastbesloten. Dit is wat ze nodig heeft om haar nieuwe leven als *slik* single op koers naar succes te zetten. Deze kerst brengt ze in haar eentje door. Althans, dat is de bedoeling…
Want een kerst alleen doorbrengen blijkt lastiger dan gedacht. Vrienden, familie, een kerstkoor, zelfs een hond in een roze trainingspak; de wereld lijkt haar maar niet met rust te willen laten.
